Alas, the day that many across this country, the USA get together for, "Thanksgiving". A day to remember the hard won accomplishments of many a forefather, born from amazing sacrifices of life, limb, and health as they traveled across what we affectionately call the "Pond", the Atlantic Ocean to the eastern seaboard of America in order to escape religious persecution as well as carry on the various agendas postulated, hypothesized and presumed by so many a scholar or couch historian, to coin a new phrase. Something indeed to sing about!

With all of the writings about this holiday in the world from the obscure to the well known, it seems to me that there is nothing for me to add about the holiday with the exception of something that I've pondered recently and that is as follows; among all of the holidays that have notable and memorable songs attached to them, why is there no "Thanksgiving" Song? Well actually, there is! According the an article in the Washington post, 'Jingle Bells' - Written for Thanksgiving?, a song written by one James Lord Pierpont called "Jingle Bells" appeared on the scene for others to sing on Thanksgiving. Who would have thought? We learn something new everyday for sure! Please take the time to enjoy the article about "Jingle Bells" (Here). Yet, please also have a look around this website and enjoy the following video below this text before you go. Happy Holidays and thank you for spending time here at Media Creative Companies.
